7/6/07 I have started this letter numerous times tonight trying to put all my thoughts together of the last four (4) weeks with [IPA Consultant] working with us here at [Business Name]. Some days might have even been more stressful for [IPA Consultant] than for me. During these four weeks [IPA Consultant] had to work through not only vacations, attitudes, sickness of my mother which took me away from the office several days and the changing of the problems on the surface besides the ones he encountered while working here day to day. Yet, with all that being said, [IPA Consultant] worked around and through the interruptions and continued to plan and create a business road map for me to follow and live by. I know that [IPA Consultant] has given me all the tools & guidance that I need to be effective and profitable. I definitely know that this is not going to be an easy or clear-cut road map to follow and that there will be considerable bumps in the road. However, I do know that if I follow the paper trail that he has mapped out and explained to not only me but to all the employees we will be successful. I know that if I do not keep filling in the holes along our journey we will not make the trip a successful one. [IPA Consultant] has helped me remember a lot about what I learned in college but forgot to remember along the way. Now is the time to definitely follow the guidance and leadership that I have been learning more about the last few weeks. I know that I need to be the boss and be in the driver’s seat. While along the way I ‘MUST’ sell our products to anyone and everyone and our success lies in not only my sales but other sales people that I hire in our travels. By being in charge I ‘MUST’ make sure that all procedures are being followed not only at the end of each month but each and every day. Our morning meetings will continue with reports given by each employee unless they are not able to be here and then they shall have another individual give their report for that period of time. At this time I truly hate to see [IPA Consultant] leave but I know I must now get behind the driver’s seat and put the pedal to the metal for success. One of the most important facts that I need to remember is that if I need help or if it’s just a question I have that [IPA Consultant] is only a phone call away. I did not realize that I had that assistance last time I worked with [IPA]. I have truly enjoyed [IPA Consultant] and his business knowledge and bringing new ideas. I believe [IPA Consultant] will keep thinking of new ideas for us and has had [Business Name]’s best interest in mind through this whole project. I could go on but I believe by now you can see how grateful I am for the leadership [IPA Consultant] has given me in the past few weeks. I definitely believe that if we all work as a team and stick to the road map we will not only succeed but be very successful. Thanks to [IPA Consultant] and together we will make this project a ‘SUCCESS STORY’ for all of us.
